Set on the Tropic of Capricon in Central Queensland, the Capricon coast is an undiscovered gem. With an average temperature of 25degs during my stay. Pristine coastline stretching 95Km from Stanage bay to the mighty mouth of Fitztoy River is speckled with small townships, beautiful beaches and fantastic fishing.
Nestled at the central of Capricon coast lies the place where we stay during this hectic 6 weeks work. The Rydges Capricon Resort. A beachfront wildlife sanctuary, with an endless beach stretching further than the eye, dotted with tracks of cantering horses and solitary walkers, watched over by spectacular sub-tropical islands to the east and ancient volcanic ranges to the west, the resort is a living oasis of fun & relaxation.

Arriving at Rockhampton Airport.

Moving into Rydges capricon resort.

Pool view from my balcony.

The pool creates a relaxing holiday "feel" for this resort. Swimming in this pool does clears a whole day stress..

Excercising is the way to start the day : Fresh!

Camel riding

Resort's PRs

Yeppoon, the place where we spend the most time. The tallest building here is only 2 storeys high with only 2 traffic lights serving this laid back town.

Rossyln Bay, gateway to the Great keppel islands and its iconic Great barrier reef. Sunset on its peak is truely beautiful.

Darwin, our transit point before returning home. Our united team had some hid-cups during work but not at life. We had a wonderful Casino spree concluding our trip.
